LaVinia Barbie is the second doll in Mattel's Harlem Theater collection. Like Claudette Gordon, the first doll in this series, LaVinia got her new face, the LaVinia sculpture. Another noteworthy detail is its pivot body – the first curvaceous articulated body Mattel has produced – called the “Collector Curvy”. The second doll that got the LaVina Sculpt is one of the 2017 Holiday Barbies. Another Barbie with this face is the 2020 Chromatic Couture Barbie (the red one). She was the convention doll of the Japan Convention and the Rome Fashion Doll Convention.
