With Fashionistas issue 82, Mattel introduced another new face of Barbie in the first wave of 2018. The Barbie Chic in Chambray was the first Barbie with this face. She had a short, choppy hairstyle. The following dolls with the face are rooted again. The mold has a big smile, similar to the Summer Facemold. For a few years no one knew the name of this mold, so it was called after the fashion for "Chic in Chambray" dolls. But in 2019, Mattel used the face for "Inspirational Woman" Rosa Parks Barbie. In Rosas' description, Mattel calls his face sculpt FNJ40/Alec. So now we have Alec.
